Computer Basics

1.The earliest calculating device is abacus.

2.Punched cards were first introduced by Hollerith.

3.First generation computers used Vacuum tubes.

4.The first machine which would be called the prototype of the modern computer was analytic engine.

5.Cursor is a thin blinking line.

6.Backspace key is a control key.

7.Programs stored in ROM are called firmware.

8.A binary system has two symbols 0 and 1

9.BCD stands for Binary Coded Decimal.

10.RAM stands for Random Access Memory.
